Dr. Kizer is an internationally respected health care leader who is widely known for his expertise and accomplishments in health system transformation, patient safety and quality improvement, population health management, and Veterans health issues.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Atlas Research welcomes Meg Kabat, former National Director of the Caregiver Support Program at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a new senior director, Ms. Kabat will use her depth of knowledge in health care operations to develop solutions for Atlas Research’s federal clients, including the Defense Health Agency and Veterans Affairs.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has issued an $18 million, three-year contract to Atlas Research to identify and implement innovations that improve access to care, care coordination, employee engagement, quality, and safety for the 8.76 million Veterans who receive care at more than 1,700 VHA sites each year
Ms. Gladish came to Atlas Research in March through the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program offered by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She’s very thankful that Atlas has a Veteran Engagement Plan to help Veterans and spouses who have been transferred or are transitioning out of the military find meaningful employment.

Atlas Research’s ability to modernize legacy operations is best illustrated by our work for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), where we are helping execute on all five of the department’s top priorities. This is the kind of complex equation that Atlas excels at solving. We have also trained tens of thousands of family members to care for Veterans at home.
Atlas has been providing ongoing support to implement this EBQI initiative to improve services delivered to women Veterans since 2016. With this new award, Atlas will continue working with facilities to create and implement structured QI projects that enhance care and services for women Veterans.
