Atlas Research and partners worked with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and rural health experts to develop new solutions to address the unique health care challenges of rural Veterans.

Through a comprehensive examination of the issue, Atlas Research identified solutions and promising practices for the Department of Labor Women's Bureau to inform the treatment of multiple traumas and barriers affecting women Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Atlas Research supports the National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans (National Center) by conducting onsite monitoring visits of SSVF grantees.

Atlas Research supports VA by providing portfolio management, program management, and project management and developing a strategic foundation and framework to address VA Health Care’s GAO’high-risk designation. 

By working collaboratively with hospice and end-of-life organizations in the VA Midwest Health Care Network, Atlas Research helped to develop care coordination models that effectively serve the unique health care needs of a Veteran requiring end-of-life care.

By supporting mobile app development activities, Atlas Research helps enable health care providers to work more efficiently and improve health care quality.

Atlas Research supports the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) by assessing readiness to implement home-based services to ensure Veterans receive high-quality, patient-centered, and self-directed care.

Atlas Research works with the Veterans Health Administration's (VHA) Office of Community Care (OCC) to establish a governance structure and provide program management support for the department’s transition and high-priority community care programs.

To ensure access to timely, comprehensive, and quality health care for rural women Veterans, Atlas Research developed a comprehensive care initiative and implemented it in rural communities within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Capitol Health Network.
