WASHINGTON, DC – Atlas Research released its annual report Impact Through Innovation, which showcases how it helps federal government improve health care and address urgent health challenges.

In conjunction with Newman’s Own, Easter Seals Dixon Center, and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Atlas Research co-hosted a webinar entitled Recognizing and Responding to Chronic Sorrow: Revitalizing the Weary Hearts of Veteran Caregivers, on Thursday, May 28, 2015.

Atlas Research, in partnership with the Easter Seals Dixon Center, will present a webinar on the Challenges of Rural Caregiving on Thursday, April 30. The webinar will focus on the unique caregiving challenges faced by rural caregivers, including barriers due to limited proximity to health care facilities. 

Atlas Research supports efforts to address the unique challenges faced by caregivers of Veterans.

Through national outreach and technical assistance, Atlas Research is enhancing rural community collaboration and capacity to address behavioral health issues.

Atlas Research supported the Office of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Disease Policy (OHAIDP) by conducting a comprehensive inventory of the federally-supported HIV and viral hepatitis programs, services, research, and activities reaching/serving black gay, bisexual, same-gender-loving, and other MSM.

Atlas Research is providing technical assistance and program support to the Office of Minority Health’s (OMH) new program, the Youth Health Equity Model of Practice (YHEMOP) in the placement of Emerging Health Professionals (EHPs) to meet the needs of diverse organizations with short-term health equity projects.

By increasing partnerships and effective programming, Atlas Research is helping the Office of Minority Health (OMH) target the elimination of health disparities for young adults.

To ensure access to timely, comprehensive, and quality health care for rural women Veterans, Atlas Research developed a comprehensive care initiative and implemented it in rural communities within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Capitol Health Network.
