In conjunction with Newman’s Own, Easter Seals Dixon Center, and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Atlas Research co-hosted a webinar entitled Recognizing and Responding to Chronic Sorrow: Revitalizing the Weary Hearts of Veteran Caregivers, on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
The webinar focused on restoring wellness through the acknowledgement and acceptance of common caregiver concerns, including feeling alone, undervalued, and misunderstood. Co-founders of Opus Peace and guest experts Pat McGuire and Deborah Grassman (author of Peace at Last: Stories of Hope and Healing for Veterans and Their Families), offered a fresh perspective on coping with chronic sorrow as a Military Caregiver.
