While Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) research has made great strides in recent years, there remains much to be examined. Atlas Research is supporting the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through an investigation and pilot study regarding meditation as a treatment modality for Veterans diagnosed with PTSD.

Atlas Research worked to reduce the cost and lost productivity associated with existing workers’ compensation claims within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) through effective case management and large scale evaluation services.

Atlas Research supports the  VA Office of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) by helping to implement a framework to provide governance, communications, training, processes, and tools to effectively identify, assess, respond to, and monitor risks.

Atlas Research is supporting VA transition from one Presidential administration to the next through program support, coordination, and analysis.

To train rural health care providers regarding women’s health, the VA Capitol Health Care Network engaged Atlas Research to develop a mobile clinical training program that rotates to facilities throughout the Network’s region.

By providing technical assistance, technical writing, and expert facilitation support, Atlas Research is supporting a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) initiative to strengthen behavioral health care systems for service members, Veterans, and their families.

Atlas Research is supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Services Research & Development (HSR&D) by evaluating the Collaborative Research to Enhance and Advance Transformation and Excellence (CREATE) program (a program that focuses on high-priority areas in VA, including Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), women’s health, and long-term care) to ensure that research initiatives are mission-aligned and meeting program standards.

Atlas Research is helping the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs drive toward a modern, user-friendly, technology-enabled contact center and web experience that consistently delivers an exceptional Veteran experience across the enterprise.

Through this Homeless and Homeless Prevention Services project, Atlas Research assisted the Washington DC VA Medical Center in one of several efforts aimed at reducing Veteran homelessness.

Atlas Research helps the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) assess and ensure the quality and equity of services provided to meet the unique and ever increasing needs of a growing woman Veteran patient population.
