Director, Learning and Performance
Andy Pasternak is Director of Learning and Performance, providing leadership in the practice area of education, training, learning, and performance. Mr. Pasternak establishes and guides the project selection, prioritization, balancing, and termination processes for portfolio components to ensure alignment with organizational strategy. He ensures timely and consistent communication to stakeholders on progress, impacts, and changes associated with management of the portfolio.
Mr. Pasternak has over 25 years of experience working with government, non-government, and commercial organizations designing and implementing education, training, learning, and performance programs. He has expert knowledge of the full scope of learning and training modalities including instructor-led, online, mobile, social networking, simulation, gaming, and blended solutions. He has led teams in the conceptualization and creation of custom educational, training, eLearning, learning management, and performance support solutions for a wide range of government and commercial organizations.
He led training and learning programs for Sigmatech Incorporated where he managed over 20 contracts with 11 different Federal entities including U.S. Army, West Point, Defense Logistics Agency, National Security Space Institute, Food and Drug Administration, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Citizen and Immigration Service, Federal Aviation Administration, and Department of Agriculture. He served as Sigmatech’s Program Manager the Office of Personnel Management Training Management Assistance (OPM TMA) contract. He also worked for MITRE Corporation where he led multi-disciplinary team in support of the Director of National Intelligence, National Intelligence University. He worked for PalTech Incorporated, where he guided the development and implementation of Learning Management Systems and products for the Department of State, National Foreign Affairs Training Center. He led the development award-winning education and training programs for Calvert School Incorporated, Project Learning Tree, and Cornell University Cooperative Extension.
Mr. Pasternak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Environmental Education from the City College of New York. He began his career as a math and science teacher.
