WASHINGTON, DC – As part of Atlas Research's work with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Innovation Ecosystem, the company supported VHA as it showcased innovative approaches to reduce Veteran suicide at a recent House Committee on Veterans' Affairs roundtable.
“We saw an opportunity to raise the profile of the VHA Innovation Ecosystem Operational Model, a repeatable framework for managing innovation and engaging stakeholders at each phase in the lifecycle,” said Kevin Ripp, Vice President of Innovation and Modernization at Atlas Research. “The Subcommittee on Technology Modernization chose to focus on technology innovation making an impact on suicide prevention and we were able to showcase practices making an impact across VHA. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with VHA and the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs to enable these opportunities in the future.”
Congresswoman Susie Lee hosted the Subcommittee on Technology Modernization roundtable on Tuesday, January 28. It discussed the Department of Veterans Affairs’ efforts to provide Veterans with behavioral health and suicide risk reduction care through research, innovation, emerging technology and high-tech tools.
