WASHINGTON, DC – Strategic Medical Equipment (SME) Solutions and Atlas Research have teamed together to win a five-year ID/IQ contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to replace and enlarge a VA clinic in West Indianapolis as well as Terre Haute, Indiana. These new clinics will provide Veterans with enhanced and expanded health care services.
Working with SME Solutions, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Atlas Research is leading the transition efforts to replace the existing Indianapolis West Annex Clinic to expand its outpatient services to Veterans. The state-of-the-art, energy-efficient facility will offer primary care, mental health, and certain specialty care services to West Indianapolis Veterans.
The existing, undersized Terre Haute Mental Health Clinic will be replaced. In the new enlarged facility, primary care and mental health services will be offered in the same location.
“We’re excited and humbled to be involved in this important transformation of VA facilities in central Indiana,” said Mark Chichester, Vice-Chair of Atlas Research. “This project embodies our commitment to doing meaningful work, specifically work that benefits the Veteran community. We’re proud to be the only firm involved in the full replacement of VA Medical Centers in both Denver and New Orleans, and to continue that line of work in Indiana.”
Atlas will use AFACTS™ on this project—our trademark-approved facility activation tracking tool—and the only one approved to reside directly on the VA network.
