WASHINGTON, DC – Atlas Research is partnering with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Innovation Ecosystem on Innovation Experience (iEx), an event showcasing pioneering innovations transforming Veteran care, to be held October 22-23 at the National Press Club.
“We’re thrilled to be working with VHA on the Innovation Experience,” said Mark Chichester, Vice-Chair of Atlas Research. “It’s an incredible display of the innovations that are transforming Veteran care and a testimony to the dedication and innovative mindset that is reshaping and enhancing the way VHA delivers health care.”
The iEx is the signature annual event of VHA’s Innovation Ecosystem. Atlas Research works with VHA to set strategic direction and execute priorities of the VHA Innovation Ecosystem, which serves as a catalyst for the advancement of care delivery and service through mission-driven innovation intended to build trust with Veterans.
One of the most successful programs in the Innovation Ecosystem is the annual VHA Shark Tank competition — to be held October 22 at iEx — in which VA employees share practices that improve Veteran care. The program has impacted the lives of 100,000+ Veterans at more than 150 VA facilities across the country.
A popular feature of iEx is the Experience Center, an interactive exhibit highlighting promising care innovations at VA facilities. Employee demonstrations will include 3D printing, a virtual reality program called StrongMind that helps Veterans struggling with PTSD, and many others.
Young Bang, Chief Growth Officer at Atlas Research and a technology industry thought leader, will join a panel discussion on innovation in the digital age of health care at the October 21 iEx kickoff event. And other members of the Atlas senior leadership will serve as judges for VHA employee innovation demonstrations.
