To address new hospital standards in cultural competence, the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center asked Atlas Research to assess its health care environment and provide recommendations.

Atlas Research is assisting the U.S. Office of Minority Health (OMH) in improving its leadership role in advancing programs and policies that eliminate health disparities while simultaneously increasing effectiveness and efficiency.

Atlas Research is supporting the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) by conducting six systematic reviews to help ensure that the Quality of Family Planning (QFP) recommendations set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are up-to-date and account for recent findings or changes in evidence.

Through national outreach and technical assistance, Atlas Research is enhancing rural community collaboration and capacity to address behavioral health issues.

By supporting mobile app development activities, Atlas Research helps enable health care providers to work more efficiently and improve health care quality.

Atlas Research supports the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) by reviewing qualified health plans offered in the federally-facilitated marketplace

Atlas Research is supporting the HHS Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in addressing mental health through digital storytelling.

Atlas Research is supporting the MyVA Task Force in developing and implementing a standardized Performance Measurement structure to link the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA’s) strategic goals with its day-to-day operations. The team is developing a dashboard tool, defining the required governance approach and processes, and providing strategic and analytical support to advance the portfolio of transformational initiatives.  

Atlas Research worked with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Capitol Health Care Network to expand physical and occupational services by establishing three new VA rehabilitative outpatient clinics in West Virginia.

By developing and executing an implementation strategy for the National Plan for Action to Reduce Health Disparities, Atlas Research is helping the Office of Minority Health (OMH) energize, engage, and build the capacity of stakeholders at the national, state, and local levels.
