If you'd like to work with bright, engaging, hardworking people and a diverse team committed to making a difference, we encourage you to join us.
At Atlas Research, we are committed to our employees and invested in maintaining a corporate culture defined by collaboration, innovation, and opportunities for professional growth. We empower creative, mission-driven employees to deliver efficient, sustainable solutions that fuse domain knowledge with agile processes.
Atlas Research is part of Titan Alpha, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) joint venture with Prometheus Federal Services (PFS). This enterprise is built upon a well-established partnership that dates to an SBA-approved October 2017 Mentor-Protégé Agreement between our two companies. We offer significant advantages to our clients through a proven partnership with strong past performance as a team and with extensive experience in managing large IDIQ contract vehicles.
Advocating for Veterans
Atlas was founded by a Veteran with a strong commitment to Veterans. Since its inception, Atlas has invested in the success and well-being of Veteran populations and our employees who are connected to the military. We maintain a robust system for recruiting, training, and retaining Veteran employees and have a demonstrated history of supporting Veteran employees and their families, Veteran-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, and Veteran-focused organizations and communities.
Our corporate policies offer every possible accommodation for Veteran and Service Member employees and their families. Our Veteran recruitment, training, and retention programs are managed directly by our Veteran Experience Officer and by our most senior corporate executives including our Chief Executive Officer and the Founder and Chair of our Board of Directors.
The Atlas Veteran Network actively helps to recruit Veterans into the company, assist incoming Veterans making the transition to a civilian career, and guide new employees with understanding how they can best leverage their military skills to succeed at Atlas. The network is open to any employee who served in the armed forces, as well as Veterans of the intelligence community.
We recognize that Veterans and their family members may have unique needs and requirements, and our corporate policies are especially Veteran-friendly and Service Member friendly. Among the many benefits we offer:
- Generous Uniformed Services Benefits: Employment and reemployment rights for Veterans continuing service in the Reserves and National Guard
- Tuition Reimbursement Policy: Encouragement to participate in formal educational programs at respected academic institutions
- Professional Development Programs: Comprehensive technical and professional training opportunities such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certifications
- Flexible Work Arrangements: Opportunities for telecommuting, remote work, and other accommodations for Veterans and for spouses of military Service Members
The Numbers
Approximately 10-15 percent of Atlas employees are Veterans, and we are striving toward 20 percent.
Throughout our history, we have demonstrated a strong commitment to our SDVOSB and VOSB teaming partners and to Veteran entrepreneurs through our small business subcontracting plans (where approximately 12 percent of our gross revenues have been subcontracted to Veteran-Owned Small Businesses), our formal GSA and SBA Mentor Protégé Programs, and our informal Atlas Mentor Protégé Network activities that support Veteran employees within our partner firms.
Atlas Research has also received the PsychArmor Institute’s "Veteran Ready Organization" Certification. It recognizes Atlas Research as a company that understands the needs of Veterans and encourages and supports hiring them. This certification is given to organizations that celebrate Veterans and take an active stand in helping them succeed.
Partnerships
Serving Veterans and their families and caregivers is our primary motivator and instilled in the Atlas corporate culture. We strive to support Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) in all our work. Atlas is proud to share our lessons learned and best practices with our partners.
Since its infancy, Atlas has conducted the majority of its business with the Department of Veterans Affairs, serving underserved Veteran communities, and managing high-profile, enterprise-level business transformations.
Atlas joined forces with Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA to provide rewarding and challenging career opportunities for current and former members of America’s military and their spouses through the Veteran Staffing Network.
Community Engagement
Atlas has established a portfolio of direct community engagement activities and corporate initiatives that create impacts on Veterans across the nation. Through these engagement activities, our staff interacts directly with with Veterans, caregivers, and military families.
Atlas has provided financial support, planning assistance, and a significant number of hands-on volunteers to ensure the success of these events. Our funds and volunteers uplift and support disabled Veterans and caregivers throughout the year, providing food, clothing, training and other necessary support.
